The story...
So what is "Petra Park" all about?
As so many good things, it all started with a crisis.
This particular crisis was the COVID 19 lockdown, which our starting business got caught up in, just as we had our first customer - and the next day, ALL potential customers were gone. We were offering nature walks, entertainment and coaching to German and English tourists in Spain, and from one day to the other, they had all disappeared and did not return for a year. Moreover, we were locked into a campground with only one other couple and told not to leave - for 2 months.

So there we were.
And there were all the cats that had previously been fed by tourists.
And then there was the water turtle that one of the employees had to leave behind and was not allowed to get due to the lockdown.
And then came the kittens...

We had been studying healing and spirituality at the time, and now we had plenty of time to do more of that, but first, we bought food for all the cats that were part of the camp ground,
then we repurposed our little paddle pool for the turtle,
and finally we saved the kittens.
​
So again, there we were, just a few more.
And there were the Spanish local residents with desperately bored children,
and without a zoo or entertainment to bring them to.

But we had a trampoline, a water turtle, and plenty of kittens,
and guess where the local Spanish brought their kids...

"Petra Park" was the name that the manager of the campground gave us, and it was one of the first win-win situations for us, because the campground was suddenly getting local repeat customers while all the tourists were gone. We, on the other hand, got the occasional donation to get yet another kitten spayed or neutered. Some of the kittens we placed with friends (including the manager of the campground), and some of the kittens we have to this day and brought with us.

But the experience stayed with us, and when we expanded again into massage and healing - massage being something we had done decades before - we thought: "Well, healing and spirituality definitely go well together. Pranic Healing is basically a combination of the two (and the "Babylon Project" on this site explains some of the background), but why not include it on the Massage site as well?"
After all, Ayurveda Massage and Reiki are now accepted practices, and while Pranic Healing may be a bit less common around here, and is practiced much more in India ("Prana" being the Indian word for "Chi"), we can just as well include healing for all of what makes us - and include traditional methods we practice here to heal the physical body as well.

And why not have a bit of fun while at it, and include all nature as well?
After all, nature is generally very healing for people, and we are part of nature - the more balanced we are with that which surrounds us, the more balanced we also tend to be within ourselves, at least until we are all fully enlightened.

So we offer a bit of everything - and our clients can pick and choose what they would like to dive into.

Pranic healing can be booked as an add-on, or it can be booked separately.

And if you would like to know a bit more about the spiritual background - we generally follow the teachings of main stream spiritual teachers, like Master Co, Sadhguru, or Eckhart Tolle. We recommend Master Co initially, because he explains the spiritual background for beginners, as it is also taught in the inner teachings and secret societies of various religions, including Christianity. Sadhguru is quite a bit more "out there" for Europeans. and Eckart Tolle is probably somewhere in between.

As most of the publicly available content online is in English, and most English speakers have at least a little background in those teachings, we also included a page for German speakers, to explain the very basics in German - we were in Germany for a time, and found that this may be helpful.
That is what the "Babel Projekt" is about.
